Welcome to The Boot Store - Home of the Boot in the Sky

Our business is Louisiana owned and operated and we are proud to have employed many from our community over the last four decades.  We are located near the intersection of Florida and Airline, (in front of the Old Cortana Mall - now new Amazon complex), just look for the boot in the sky.  In April 2022, the reins of the store were passed along to Brian and Tracey Simmons.  Four generations of Tracey's family have worked for this family owned business under the original owner George Waggoner dating back to the 1970s and as recent as 2022.  Tracey's Grandmother, Delores Fontenot, her aunt Marlene Erfurt, her mother Kathy Falcon, her sister Dana Robertson, and her son Tyler Simmons have all been a part of The Boot Store legacy.  There have been many other special relationships in the history of this business including Becky Calloway, who managed the store for 44 years and her 3 sons, several couples who met working together and were married, high school students who started here and stayed with us through college, and working Moms & Dads that have been able to have flexible schedules to better balance work and family.  We feel so blessed when customers come in and tell us they got their first pair of boots from us when they were children and now they are back with their children and grandchildren to get their first pair of boots! We are honored to have been in business for over four decades in the same location and it is all because of our many wonderful loyal customers whom we appreciate very much!!  We truly hope that everyone has a pleasant shopping experience at our store and will continue to support us.  This is not just a job to us, we truly care about our customers.
